Imlay Canyon

Another Zion canyon that needs no introduction. Imlay is a classic for a reason: a long, but beautiful off-trail approach within a rugged stretch of the NP; log soups; challenging pothole escapes; dazzling sculpted narrows; a strong communication and teamwork requirement; and an awesome stunt rappel into the heart of the Narrows. So during a canyoneering meetup at the park – Jason, Willy, Chase, and myself got an early start, enjoyed a lovely romp through the canyon and got into the narrows by early afternoon. Great canyon, great group, great time.
