This is an epic 2-day overnight canyoning trip not too far outside of LA, though it requires a lengthy shuttle, or a shorter one if you want to summit over Mt Baldy first. I met up with Conrad and Ron and after the shuttle set up we began the approach early morning and made it through the canyonto the confluence with the East Fork of the San Gabriel River as it was getting dark then camped the night at a primitive campsite nearby. The next day we hiked along and in the river and out the Bridge to Nowhere. The canyon was beautiful during the beginning of fall and it had a really cool geology, a hallway feature being a highlight. We had a really fun time through this canyon, but there is a lot of creek walking.
