After my time in Tasmania I flew up to experience the mainland for about a month. My first stop was Melbourne to visit my buddy Steven, whom I worked with during my time in New Zealand. We hung out a few days just exploring the city and doing a little road trip out to the 12 Apostles. Melbourne is a cool city: lots of parks, a coffee capital, great live music scene, solid public transpo with the biggest urban tram system on Earth, and the fun Laneway City with maze-like alleyways filled with graffiti. I can see why it’s so popular with those on working holiday visas.
