Everest Base Camp Trek

After India, Catalina and I headed off to neighboring Nepal for some epic trekking. After some time in Kathmandu we caught a plane to Lukla airport, famous for its nerve-wracking landing and take-off, to begin our hike to Everest Base Camp. The trek itself, while touristy, has some of the most dramatic mountain scenery of any hike in the world. We would be spending the next couple weeks slowly making our way up river valleys and past towering mountains, staying at lovely little tea houses along the way, to see where climbers stage themselves in order to ascend the highest peak in the world.
