The summer of covid wasn’t a total loss. My buddy Jason and his wife Erika were going to make the long drive to the Wind River Range in Wyoming to do the Cirque of the Towers loop. I had no idea how gorgeous the Teton Range really was. I brought my rod (no fish caught), and Jason and I split some climbing gear between us in order to do a couple climbs along the way. We ended up only doing one route and then bailing on the other as we had trouble with the approach. Over the next few days we were treated to some of the best scenery that the US has to offer. Shame it is such a long drive to get out there. I would love to go back some day. There were some sections off in the distance that looked like it could have been Eden. Stunning place. Mother Earth just keeps on giving.
